Michigan Softball Wins Game 1 of BTT

After a very shaky season, the 'M' softball team exploded in its quarterfinal game against State, pounding the Spartans, 13-0, with homers from Becky Marx and Sam Findlay. Hopefully, this will get the team and Findlay in particular, on track. Findlay should go into the Michigan Hall of Fame no matter what, but dare we say it, she is going through quite a "Sophomore Slump"...

A possible explanation for the 'slump'

from rivals section_6:
"an Easton team will win the softball national title this year, the bat the ASA has approved for the Louisville Slugger teams isn't near the bat the Easton teams have, the bat U of M used last year was banned in the off season. If you watched the UCLA game the check swing home runs tell the story.

U of M would have to overcome that and all things being equal it will be tough. There are a lot of politics played with the ASA and Easton won this off season."

So i guess their bats are shitty now. Still, if they get to the championship game, i'm going!
